LUXNAV officially launched it's public website today at www.luxnav.com. This startup energy company was founded by a recently graduated mechanical engineer from Stanford University along with a former Googler and entrepreneur in Mountain View, California.
At this stage, progress is being made to acquire capital with a $20,000 investment already having been secured by one of the founders in the form of mechanical equipment and five web properties offering exposure and revenue generating potential. The company has also identified a design shop in Menlo Park, CA to develop it's first product, the M100.
Business negotiations are in progress with a consulting firm in Colorado called Devlin Consulting which may lend expertise to the M100 prototype. Additionally, the founder of Devlin Consulting has been invited to join the board of directors at LUXNAV, having worked with one of the founders in 2000 at Hewlett Packard. Two other board members are being considered at this stage, one accountant from Greeley, CO and one electrical engineer from San Jose, CA.
Licenses are being secured for the first pieces of mechanical equipment mentioned previously and filming has begun for the first episode of the LUXNAV podcast series. Next steps include finalization of equipment licensing, payment and signing for shop space in Menlo Park, continued OEM product research, prototype design finalization, partner & sponsorship dealings, continued filming.
