Several partnership agreements have been formed over the past couple of days between LUXNAV and music/video artists to do work on the upcoming podcast series or contribute their intellectual property. In addition, interest has been expressed by a developer at one of the Fox Network channels in LA to feature the M100 in an upcoming series.
Among the artists who agreed to support the M100 project with their current songs are an independent singer songwriter Gina Moffit, a band called Love Campaign lead by James Cole, and a band called This Holiday Life as well as an up and coming band in the Bay Area called Bears Bears Bears. With Gina Moffit, Bears Bears Bears and Love Campaign being independent, approval is now in place to use their songs for the first few podcast episodes. Negotiations are ongoing between This Holiday Life and LUXNAV.
Two video producers have also been identified to do work on the podcast series with each having a niche expertise in online marketing and adventure films. Blake Kimmel, known for his outstanding work on multiple freestyle ski films including the Spotl!ght Project (which had over 12K views and 300+ paid downloads as of this press release), has agreed to preliminary schedules to film in December 08', March 09', and ongoing from May 09'. Blake is currently an art director and film producer for a freestyle ski clothing company in Denver, CO with previous experience at Starz Entertainment, a division of Liberty Media. The second producer resides in Los Angeles, CA and has experience filming and directing music videos and independent films, one of which recently placed among the top ten finalists in the From Here To Awesome film festival competition.
